The little Clio took some beating over the last couple of days, handled it like an absolute CHAMP. It's like a little mountain goat in the snow, unstoppable!
Looks cracking, how come you decided to sell?
It's no surprise every man and his dog are trying to set up their own raffle company these days, facebook is absolutely flooded with them. I hope you got (or near to) your £10k, but mad to think they'll be getting near £16k in raffle money for it...
Only just seen this haha.
BMS shifter decided to disconnect itself from the car, which was just what I needed after finishing a 5:30am-start shift :ROFLMAO:
Thanks for coming to help again! Easy fix in the end.
Gotta say its absolutely mad you've done all of this work outside parked on the side of the road! No way I'd have the motivation to try that.
Need yourself a smart garage!
As if this worked! I was having the exact same issues and so glad I did some forum diving to diagnose!
The only thing I'd add is that I had to change the other "sidelight" fuse - number 26 rather than 27 the line above is pointing to.
Some further work to tidy up the engine bay...
Finally got around to painting the cam covers, went with black to contrast against the inlet manifold. I swear every fcking time I take off the inlet manifold & leads I manage to end up with a misfire when I put it back together again lmao. Was...
Let us know how you get on!
And as @dann2707 said, you need to be mostly hitting the hub from the side on to free it. Not the actual thread itself. But even hours of that didn't work for me, hence the splitter method. Robbed this photo from Google
Had this issue a couple of years ago, spent hours smashing the f**k out of it and wasted three gallons of gt85 and got nowhere. Ended up driving a bolt splitter halfway into the thread to grip it, and then use a breaker bar to pivot and eventually free it. Not exactly conventional but did the job.
It's quite the ride. The main storyline ain't great and is far too long, but the graphics, design, sound effects and the sheer quality of acting makes up for it.
There's some seriously depraved s**t in there too! Brutal scenes
Had some yellow calliper paint left over from the Cup. A pain of a job purely because it's kinda shite stuff which takes 2 months to dry and chips just by breathing on it. So had to redo them a couple of times. But happy with the result in the end.
Whilst the Turinis were off I had a crack at...
Small update incoming..
Picked up a Brand New Meguires Headlight Restoration Kit off trusty Fb Marketplace for no more than £5!
Pretty happy with the result for now! Not sure how long it'll last.

Just want to make sure it's decent...
Don't be too put off mate. Okay, this is a rather large 'blip' in the road but overall, these cars are super cheap to run and maintain if you're handy with a spanner. Best value for money cars on the road imo.
Sorry to see its giving you grief at the moment but once it's sorted and you can put...
Nice work mate! Massive transformation from when you first collected it. What wheels are you thinking? Anyone other than the standard 182 alloys is an improvement imo, horrible looking things.
Not surprised there! It's at home here with the country roads in the peak district.
Thanks, Whipped it off and repainted it mate, just using cheapo VHT paint. Happy with how it came out.
Took it for a quick spin through the peak district today. Absolutely stoked with it, I dare say it out-handles my old 172 Cup but this is spec'd considerably better so it's not that all suprising.
As promised back in 2018, I'm back in the game.
Picked up this nicely modified 182 a couple of weeks ago, properly happy with it so far.
Quick spec as follows
Induction Kit
K Tec Exhaust
Pure Motorsport Strut Brace
Whiteline Anti-roll bar
BMS Shifter
Corbeau Clubsports
Turn 1 Wheel
