Hi all, were hosting a rolling road day at powerstation on the 20th sept. Open to all especially renaults, dont fear you dont really need a turbo, i will probably be coming in my trophy rather than my le car 2 turbo. Any way if your interested please add yourself to the list, i think some of the...
yep indeed very easy, did mine today, for a different way that ive not seen if you dont mind pulling apart your original switches you can get it to work easily and dont have to go hunting resistors
afterlooking it looks like i will be restricted to my demo version of winols, 1 it costs loads to buy the full version and 2 they only sell to tuners. that sucks.... anyone help out?
what have people used for checksums out of interest or is it a feature in winols? i have a 1260 read of my clio trophy if anyone wants a copy to look at
That's what I'd be potentially looking at long term so I could keep all my creature comforts. I used to have a program for correcting checksums but it was for the vag stuff. Heavily supported but after searching next to no one plays with the renault stuff on a DIY basis....
also managed to download a 32kb file using 1260, cheeky i know but has anyone knocked up an xdf for tuner pro on a 182 file? or is everyone using winols?
do you think it would be possible to do this conversion and just fit the 182 dephaser and actuator and then get the standard ecu remapped to suit? or do you need the cams aswell. could be good to get a 6 speed in the clio, seems to rev a little high at mnotorway speeds
While doing my usual jaunt to the scrap yard for a look around i found this thing looking sorry for itself at the back. Anyone know the car? Unless the cambelt let go i couldn't see a reason for it being there.
trim from door shuts was missing so couldn't see what number it was if that's...
Id get another but it would need to be ko4'd, handling is a let down but 12.6 quarters and apocalyptic acceleration above motorway speeds made up for it. Was as far as I could get it on stock turbos. Got much planned for yours?
Ok when i got my latest clio it already had a decat and janspeed catback on. The thing is, it just sounds a bit raspy/tinny on acceleration. Is this normal for them? would putting the cat back in get rid of the god awfull rasp? it just makes me think of a saxo with a powerflow on lol.
