clip can tell it does or doesnt have auto wipers yes, ive never tried it though but id assume that it would then work as normal

Well hopefully as it's the original uch to the car all should come back working, I have issues with the alarm now as it constantly thinks the boot is open. So I'm going to try my original uch with the security chip that matches the ecu that's currently fitted. I might regain the alarm that way...

I was told the security chip was an 8 leg eprom, I have 2 at the top of the pic, this is my 182 uch, which one is it? Cheers for the help

Ahh that's probably the problem then, So to use it I probably need to swap the security chip from the current uch to my 182 uch to solve the wiring issue or get the ecu Virginized so it will work with my 182 uch, is that correct?

Done that, disconnected and bridged the connection. Think it's uch related tbh

@andy_casey have you got pictures of what the immo/security chip looks like? also can anyone confirm what features are uch controlled and what is ecu controlled.

heres another question, is it possible to pull a mapped 32kb file off one ecu and flash it to a second ecu? i have a mapped ecu but its off a car without cruise control, i would like to flash it to my current ecu and keep my creature comforts and original uch.

disconnecting the boot switch makes no difference and bridging the wiring also keeps the light on

having the exact same issue with mine since changing the ecu and uch on mine, no flash on lock and boot open light on. did you sort it @lewis9195

ok here's an odd one for people, hopefully an easy fix. I have a trophy and have fitted an rs2 inlet and it came with a mapped ecu, matching uch and fob. Im sure the ecu is from an early ph2 clio. all installed totally fine, plugged in clip and set up the uch as n2 as it was previously and...

You can try eodb1260 instead but you'll struggle. Worked fine on mine until ot was. Mapped with an Rs tuner

There's a rubber seal that goes in there, it's been lost upon removal and you need it, that's your air leak. gota be reving quite high with it missing? It's red if I remember correctly

I've ran the pops and bangs map for a long while and hasn't damaged anything yet, yeah might cause damage but are we talking 50k down the line? Mines quite subtle with a few pops on over run, not like the early versions where it would go nuts driving to the shops at 30mph, only comes on above 5k...

Yeah I was hoping the extra clearences in them would allow me to run a bigger setup, I don't want to pay for the setup to find it doesn't fit though

yep the way the adaptronic is wired in lets you retain cruise as the stock is ecu is left in to control the fbw tb, good setup

Could be traction control my cupra r used to do it, like it would back off when it cut in at the same time Id let off the the throttle would momentarily return to the position it was last at, then realise you were off the throttle
