feel free to take mine out buddy if were at a meet or somthing, i have no probs with that, have let others do the same and they came back very impressed, the only way to describe it is it drives like a firm oe car, its an odd sensation, like you over the years ive tried so many different...
totaly fine on the road, these arnt some old skool stylee coilover with a harsh drive and stuff, these are smooth on the road and very easy to drive on even on the shitty british roads, and get them on the track and its amazing
i drive a bare car with decat and cat back, itbs and a roll cage, all day everyday, doesnt bother me, i actually have no rattles now, ive kept the front speakers and stereo tho
mine made it on track at combe, but as mentioned mine seems near silent when not under load compared to when ure actually driving it. decated with a powerflow cat back on mine
my old everyday sleeper
1.2 clio, £100 with tax and mot when i got it
had this fitted for drag racing when it wasnt in its daily guise
and slicks for when it was on track ;)
good for 13 sec quarters and all round crack at the trafic lights
yeah man not the best conditions to learn a car and learn a track in lol cant wait to get out again, defo improved through the day, shame about the weather
u sure its pinking bud? not somthing else metalic vibrating? you really wana get a set of det can on the car to listen for it, cus if you can hear it with ure ear its pinking very bad
ure a man legend, hope you dnt mind but ive saved them pics to my comp. the trophy kitted 5 is owned by a mate too, bruce, is the passenger in my car with the white helmet
yep, get rid of the stock springs and shocks on the rear, its not a tortion beam on the back in the same sence as it is on the old clio and 5 more of a swinging arm, the rear coilover then uses the original shock points to be mounted
i had an old gordini, still on rtoc now, ace bit of kit, used to love it, even got it into the pages of pgti back when it was worth a read. nice car bud, shoulda done a gtt carb and intercooler conversion ;) they go very well then
yeah yeah, and i bet ure mate had one running 350bhp that blew headgaskets everyweek, reliability is not an issue on a renault 5 gtt, poor maintenace causes things to feck up same as on any vehicle
ahh i know the bit you mean, ill do that.
on that offer tho i do have a few issues, ive got a pre made loom (omex/gdi) one i think, it has a wire for vtec a wire for idle motor and one that comes off the tdc sensor (to join the originals i think) ive got jenveys on so do i not conect the idle...
