Mine arrived. Havent had a chance yet to try it as im still at work. I did try to fit the pipe into the filter and yes it is a bit tight. I got it on without problems though.
probably wont be able to do this in situ in the engine bay but it you hold the pipe at 45' to the filter and jiggle it...
Im wanting to refurb some Turini wheels I have and at the same time get some decals put on.
It would make sense to put the decals under the clearcoat. Problem is the wheels get baked at 180'c at the end to harden them.
Would a decal be OK with this ? its a black decal so the heat wont change...
As above could be one of a number of things, one thing you could test is the coil pack. have the car running and then using preferably plastic plyers remove one HT lead from the coilpack, you should be seeing sparks, repeat for each ht lead and you might find 3 spark and one doesnt. Dont...
Cant seem to find these, need to get some too. Looks like the deal might be over. Just checked what GRNX means and it Green X which is some ECO thing supposedly they last longer ...
@Toby. The corskscrew is on the map below. The approach to the round about is down a hill and the roundabout is also undulating. You can take this roundabout at speed as as long as you are careful. red arrow. try it !
Sold my 172 on 156k and that was still being run a good few years after that. Nothing wrong with it at all, all original clutch gearbox engine etc.
@adalis I think I saw you on the M40 southbound on sunday just gone. I was in the black 182 that went passed.
Ive had a few Clios over the years so thought I would share a few.
First up is my first 172 MK2 RF51YDR . Bought this back in 2003 with 27K miles. Loved this car, was a rapid little thing. Ran this for years and only sold it when it hit 156K. Would love to buy this one back and restore it but I...
Thats good they come pre oiled and ready to use, saves me buying oil. Will buy the ITG oil you suggested come cleaning time, although to be honest I might just bin it and buy a new filter as cleaning foam filters and reoiling is a ball ache
Yes from me! Never been to any meets before which is shameful as I have been a member for so long. I only live 2 minutes down the road so would be rude not to come. Can show you the Frieze Way drag strip and the Kidlington Laguna Seca corkscrew road lol.
Dont stick it on top of the demister copper line, some dip s**t did that on my previous car and years later when i tried to remove it, it pulled the demister line with it.
Was looking at car waxes and thought that Auto Finesse Illusion looked pretty expensive for what it was (£75 for 200ml). Obviously there are some obscenely expensive waxes too like the Xymol that comes in the glass case or whatever it is.
Now on the Autofinesse website it lists some of the...
Now that is where its at ! well inpressed with that, all the little touches too like shiny new nuts and bolts. very very tidy ! So wish mine looked like that
Your car looks fantastic. Just one thing, your spoiler doesnt look like its fitting very well. Ive got the same problem, Ive got a feeling there is more than one type of cup spoiler if that makes sense. Think the 182 cup and 172 cup ones are different or something.
Those disc retaining screw are a pain in the ass. Ive had so many seize up. tried everything to get them off , you name it I tried it. In the end like you I got fed up and brought the big guns out. I got an angle grinder and ground off the head and then once the disc is off I use a dremmel to...
