blow out problems!!

  MG ZR 160 VVC
Hi all, I had a blow out on the way home this evening. this was very very very annoying because i lost control, slammed into the curb and it set off the passanger airbag. sad times.

On the plus side there is no exterior body damage & i'm alive. I always try to look for the good side.

I mananged to cruise it onto my drive with the tyre half hanging on and turned if off. erm now bare with me, the nuts have been put on with one of those guns and i've managed to losen 3 of them but not the locking one. It had a sort of ring around it and now thats snapped so really hard to remove!!

I gave up saying i'll deal with this tomorrow, went to put it in the garage and it wont turn over! just clicking, which iirc is the starter motor? I don't do engines at all so help?!

also, how the f**k do i repair a airbag cut and do i need to get Renault to re-set the air bag system etc?

Bugger really.

Well worth unplugging the battery for a while then reconnecting it. I think whats happened is the fuel pump has been cut off due to a sensor or ecu.

Try what's said above and also check the fuel cut off switch has not activated which can be found by the battery and has a red rubber top on it, jush push it and if it clicks then it did activate if not it could be your TDC sensor...

cheers guys, was a dead battery in the end so i charged it up and it now runs. I also got the tyre off and put the spare on...

..however, i think i've bent the steering track rod :(

Does anyone also happen to know where the side impact control sensor is for the airbag on a clio mk2 ph2?
