Boils my blood when people key cars .Feel for you.... only had the car a couple of months and that happens. Hopefully you will get her to pay to fix.
Car looks really good, interested to see how the OZ wheels turn out.
Was in France (in Carrefour supermarket) a few months ago and this Shell Helix Ultra 5w40 fullysyn was only 23 euros for a 5l jug. The Elf oil was super cheap too.
If you are getting an underseat sub I would look at getting an alpine SWE 1200 purely for the excellent fit. The sound quality is good too, but wont be quite as good as a big box in the boot. But if you are like me (37) and dont want a chavvy box in the boot it is definitely the way to go.
1) - tweeters are virtually impossible to replce without the dash coming off. dont let the dash removal scare you though, it is a lot easier than it seems. I would leave the tweeters in though as they have a built in crossover and the replacement ones might not, plus there isnt a lof of room...
Cant help with that relays but after digging the below link might help. dont shoot me if its not relevant.

you should also measure the liquid through put before and after. buy a measuring cylinder and squirt into that over say 60 seconds. this way you can see if one injector isnt performing as well as the others etc etc
just checked and you WILL need the aerial adapter, look at the back of the pioneer,
Then look at the back of the renault radio at the aerial socket ive ringed in red.
The sub just lowers into the space under the seat, no need to remove it or anything. Once in there it doesnt slide around, I havent however bolted it to the car which im definitely going to do as it vibrates a lot when the bass is going and sound will be improved once bolted. Ive got a feeling...
clock and temp both work without the stalk adapter. Definately go with the pioneer, its got better features. Having audio streamed through bluetooth from your phone is wonderful. The Alpine cant do that. I dont know about audio quality but doubt there is any difference. Research the stalk...
Thanks guys, would have taken more pics but its so dark and the headunit didnt come out with the flash.

Standard speakers are pretty good. Would definitely replace the headunit as it cant be any worse than the standard one but you will gain all the inputs for USB bluetooth and aux which are worth it. BUT you will then need a stalk adapter if you want to use the steering wheel stalk for volume etc...
EDIT title above is meant to say perfect fitting underseat sub....
I bought my 3rd clio 182 a couple of months ago and in previous cars I had an Alpine stereo with Bluetooth hands free integrated. I was now back to the standard crappy cabasse stereo and sorely missed having a decent stereo but...
oh and if you ever do it again, so much easier buying the leads in the pics above, takes all the agro out of crimping/soldering and getting polarity right.
If the wires are anything like on a 182 they are random colours, loads of people have posted wire colours on this forums and most seem different, none matched my car.
What I would do is see if you can find the old speaker connectors to see the colours of the wires you chopped then use this pic...
Thanks !
Couldnt find any of those for sale in the UK, they look amazing though but a tad pricey.
There is these though

Hi,
Have been planning to upgrade the sound in my 182 for ages as I spend a lot of time driving around and need hands free bluetooth.
I have been searching around the forums and think I am going to go for the following:
CTSRN003 Stalk Adapter for Renault Clio / Kangoo / Megane
Item Number...
Hi,
Stunning looking car mate.
Get your self over to the detailing forum for polish Ideas. Ive got a blackgold 182 myself and I use:
Menzerna range for polishing although I do have a random orbital polisher which makes it easier.
Poorboys blackhole is GREAT for black cars, its a sealant so...
Have you tried the second key? If the second key works then its the first key at fault.
I have had this issue on a previous car and its a pain in the ass. Loads of people have had this issue on here and if you search there is a lot of info about it. You might have to replace the security ECU...
Wow your setup looks fantastic, good job !! must be really satisfying having it all working a treat.
Im going to go for the same setup, just wanted to ask you a few quick questions.
How long did it take you in total do you think?
Were the front pioneer speakers good, have read mixed reviews...
