Have you got the tools to take the rear dampers off and have a good look at them? Sounds like they're failing/leaking, i'd take them off and compress them by hand to see if they're knackered, if they are it's a phone call to Renault for some new ones. When mine went the back end would jump...

Have you checked the backbox isn't knocking off the heat shield? If your rear dampers are screwed the back end normally skips and jumps over bumps, plus it tends to step out a lot easier round corners.

Twisted dog bone used on PH2 172/182. Straight dogbone mount used on PH1 172.

172's & 182's have a twisted dogbone mount, so if you're ordering bushes that's what you want.

Well those would be the things to check, something's obviously bent when you hit the curb, the only way you'll know is to get it on a lift and have a look.

Have you checked the subframe, wishbones or tie rods aren't bent?

I know mine's a HT lead because when the upper inlet came off the other week, we found one of them had white powder around the end, then within a day or so the eml started flashing intermittently. It's at BTM now for a few hundred quids worth of work including new HT leads.
