Duckhams dont do a fully synth thats why they dont do it, its cheap oil which is why they can do it so cheaply

well with the Super 4s Ben that i had in before, id get slight hesitation when changing gear or from a standing start, never thought that would be down to the plugs, but since i put those in its stopped, i know about multi electode plugs hampering the flame so maybe thats what that was ?
just changed mine to Total Quartz 9000 5W-40
mines a 1.4RT 1992 with 91k on the clock
just took it out for a spin and it seems really good, better than what i had in before (15W-50 but i buggered it up with an additive)
id go for that if i was you, others which i can also recommend are...

if you only need a top up, then the cheapest thing to do would be to buy 1L of Halfords fully synthetic 5W-40, its good oil and pretty cheap at the moment
other than that, Shell Helix Ultra, Mobil 1 (0W-40), Total Quartz 9000 (5W-40) would all be fine

does anyone know which Laguna throttle body fits onto the 1.4RT Clio
i think its a 1.8/2.0 SPi, what engine is it from ?
i wanna try an find one at the scrap yard......
ah bollox, i got confused.........it was the BB post i was talkin about
seems weird tho that the 1.2 on one RR get 60 at the wheels, and on another 70, i would expect a few bhp difference but 10 is quite a lot when were talkin less than 100bhp
which is why i wanna see the graphs for the 1.2s..........im certain i saw a few people discussing there results and it was about 75 at the fly and around 60 at the wheels, but both figures in the results table show 72 bhp at the wheels
