    timing may have slipped. if there is any noises or we dont know when the belt was done we will not do an mot

    For a piston to shear no way is it snap timing for a vavle to shear yes cos there only hollow and designed to break?bend when the belt goes. but number for cylinder sounds like the crank pully has come undone and its slipped around

    on the inside of the car you will see a seal like trim around the headling. take that of (just pulls off) the ring of 10mm bolts is there.

    It could be anything? you have replaced the air intake manifold? did you replace the gasket between the throttle body and the manifold. also there no need to replace a throttle body on a ph1 172 as its all mechanical. what does the cable look like is it frayed or any notches on it. when does it...

    depends you can get unlock ECUs just plug and plug. dont think you can use second hand ones if so you need to get them unlocked to iirc
