The tyres are a coincidence i think mate. Have you had the steering wheel off at all? and the tyres/wheels are still the same size?

Either that or the front adjuster is broken its on the N/S/F bottom arm near the subframe

Daz it will not up set the alarm, but after disconnecting the battery the first time u try and lock it it wont but plip it again and it will be fine. I think it could be the brake light switch but im sure it used to bring on the ABS light as well

Ahhh right this is going to be hard to explain. When you took your pads out were there metel spacers at either end of the pad? They should clip on to the carrier

Take the pads out and look at the shims spin the disc with your hand as well and just move the shims with a screwdriver.

Could be the shims at the ends of the pads touching the disc.

take the injector rail cover off, excess is easy then small spanner on the small nut on the power steering pipe and a 21mm on the switch.

That switch is easy mate you wont lose much fluid and its not under pressure
