sit in the car press and hold the c/l button it will lock keep holding it and it will open but make a double clunk sound realise button and plip the key 3 times it may work if it has been coded to the car (i.e. before you left the batterys out)

possibly sit in the car hold down the central locking button inside and when it double locks so to speak press the key 3 times and it should work P.S. i cant remember if it works on clios though

It could be tappets, spark plugs (wrong build date internal arcing), coil pack, TDC sonsor the list is endless on 1.2 16v

Buy the gen aux belt kit with the idler and tensioner in it for like £40 rather than doing the tensioner on its own later on and if you buy it seperate its £120

A/C in a clio wont make a great differenance in MPG, but it will make it feel your driving a milk float

Yes it is an offence to drive with no washer fluid mate. its not that bad a job to be honest. there is ofs of tips on here to remove the bumper

Yea sounds like the impellor is breaking up quite possibly, i wouldnt drive it far incase it has come apart the bits may get stuck somewhere important

Fuse it may not be the fuse you think it is dont go by the hand book, take them out one by one check it and put it back.

yea thats right. deffo the water pump by the sounds of it.

If its to the right of the bottom crank pulley then it is the water pump that has failed.

Mark if you need a hand give me a shout. the clio has no serv indicator. that only comes on when airbag or low oil level is at fault.

If it wont lock using the plip then its the solenoid. Dont get the last bit though If you use the key barrel to lock the car its only that door that you locking that will lock

If it only from cold than i would say it normal my new one is terrible when its cold.

mine bangs against the heat shields and stuff, i think some bodging will be in order but yea it is heavy.
