For that much you could do a RS2 inlet with Clio 197 cams and a RS192 exhaust and be nearing 200bhp

So potentially makes for a stiffer sidewall? I guess this would be a good thing on Federal RS-R.

Just about to order some 205 50 15 tyres for the standard 7J OZ F1. The load rating is 89. Will this cause any problems with handling or is 89 ok on the Clio?

The caster is how far forwards or backwards the wheel is. I.E the closer to the front bumper the more caster

That's good then. Tbh I do that with any tyres but on my daily I do run tyres specifically for wet weather seeing as we get so much of it. With the Clio being a cheap, fun 2nd car I can't see the harm in fitting a set. I was leaning towards more of a road biased performance tyre but I might go...

There's a few threads around about them but my concern is how good they will be for normal road driving when its damp or raining. How is the feedback when its wet? Obviously if there's standing water its time to slow down.

Yes those are the correct numbers. Thanks Steve. I was told they apply to all Mk2 172 and 182 now and that non-Cup arms are no longer supplied. So If I purchase a pair based on the above numbers I should end up with Cup arms :)

I meant the same cold properties as standard oil but better at high temp :) so not wrong, just left the word standard out.

I would go for 5w50. Same cold properities but better at high temp for the turbo. Comma 5w50 synthetic is a good oil and very well priced. Although something like Millers CFS with a very high temp resistance helps with the peak temps encountered in the turbo core. It would help to run an oil...

Just been onto renaultpartsdirect and they said all they supply now are the Cup arms so there is one part number for all. They don't supply non-cup arms. Is this the case? I don't want to order a pair and end up with non-cup arms

How do I tell if these are cup wishbones with extra caster? I got them with a complete subframe, arb and other bits supposedly from a 182 cup. The arb matches up being 23/25 rather than 22/25
