With that width of rim you want a 195 width tyre. You can get Uniroyal rainsport 2 for £33 per tyre in 195/50-R15
As above the 16" will look better, you could keep an eye out for a set of 172 cup alloys...

I need to renew my tie rods and rack bushes so I've thought why not do the DCi rack. I'll be fititng the 182 manifold soon with the subframe dropped so it's an ideal opportunity to get it done.

Mild (uprated inlet cam and standard exhaust cam): Catcams 428 £600, Prima INR £300, GT £400-500. Or you could pick up a used set of Clio 197 cams for £100-150.
Bit more aggressive are the Piper BP270, these are reprofiled standard cams with shims. £360
Then Catcams 421, 438 £500, C&B, ED £500...
I bought a set of Matt Lewis motorsport/moquip/aeroquip braided lines and took them to my friendly neighbourhood garage to fit along with my ATE blue fluid.
However the lines weren't suitable, apparently the flared end is incorrect. They'll do them at a later date with new pipes.

As Dan has said. Squeeze oil out (I use squeeze clamps as they aren't as forceful as a vice). Crank the engine a bit.
Doing it this way allows the valve clearances to be set correctly as you can over prime them. Then you can get issues with valve clearances, compression etc.
I have had great success with bike bodies and bike carbs in the past of a few engines. Obviously bodies are required for the Clios due to the fuel injection.

I finally got a reply from Prima racing as to what their cam specs are. It turns out they are identical to the GT cams but only £295!!
272 degrees inlet with 11.3mm lift and 256 degrees exhaust with 10.25mm lift.
I believe they give a similar result to the Catcams 428?
Is there anything else I can do at the same time to save time and money?

The gear ratios are pretty good and with it being a 2nd car I can live with it doing 3600rpm at 70 for the better acceleration.
