cant comment on that place but powertune scotland done mine ive got 130bhp and 190lb/ft been running for about 15k now iirc and about 6 months. clutch is slipping now in 5th when it comes on boost but the car has already done 91k on that clutch!

i got less from my 172 than i got from my 1.2 16v lol

i think renault should stay with a n/a engine, theirs no need for the mk4 to be any heavier than it is, their is more power to be squeezed and i for one dont like the way turbo FWD cars drive.

its not just all about mpg though a 172 isnt very refined compaired to a diesel, if i have to do a long journey ill take the diesel every time over the 172, apart from the fact it costs pennies to run its smooth, quiet, and goes much better under 5k revs ie around town compaired to the 172

and loads of torque ;)

personally for me it would be a late 172 (53 or 04 plate) for your money you would get a complete minter with some change! plus 03 onwords had ESP and 53 onwords had cruise control.

has abs and air con yes, id go ph1, as said above make sure it has an aluminium bonnet

cup spoilers usually go for around £120+ really depends on colour, if someone can get it in the colour they need without painting they will pay for it! so best bet is to hold off untill you find one in standard colour as not a lot of people want one in that colour due to all 172s having one in...

vrs is an extremely capable car, but standard vs standard its not 172 pace, my dci is more on par with fabias untill 80mph then they have the legs slightly compaired to a 172

what a shame lol

not a fan of slash on twin pipes for some reason looks ok on single like a 172. 3" round will look sweet
