no 1 on here will ever like the skirts wheels or bumpers, infact i dont either but if thats what you like then good on ya! hell of a drive to pick up that bumper hehe!
reving a car to 4k revs is not going to do it any harm. not sure what ecu its running i just know he paid 1k to have the new ecu fitted, safe maped and then a remap when he gets the time
sparks coming from the exhaust are loose bits of the weld from the inside burning off was fine after 5 mins running.
yes they do need properly mapped infact i beleive there is only one company in the uk that is worth getting them mapped by? thats why its just had a 1k ecu install and map done...
on non aircon cars i used to curse when the battery side blew because it had less room, then i tried the drivers side on a 172 with aircon lol sore hands after it!
im trying to decide if i like that splitter or not! i think it looks awesome in some pics and not in others!
front bumper looks awesome just needs fog lights fitted (assuming u smashed them too?)
its never going to pop flames like the ITB cars do unless you get it mapped to spit fire!!! but i cant see why it wont pop a flame like mine did yesterday with a decat, but its only done it once so wouldnt say its worth spending money on a decat for that alone! lol
why skimp on probably the next most important thing after tyres for keeping you on the road? lol
OEM quality standard ones will be cheapest but if your looking for aftermarket check out apex or gmax
my mate got a powerflow on his old 172 (was from motorsport world - loads of us got systems from them when they used to do the old zaust exhausts before they used powerflow and they were brilliant!!)
wasnt 2.5" rusted to f**k, tailpipe went brown with rust! lol
anyone ever heard of a standard ecu 172 doing this? it was poping flames when i lifted off on the limiter in 5th yesterday?

I would be very interested in finding out if you can use the C3 injectors on them too as it would allow me to run silly power! im only going to spend money on mine if i can get a really good gain, not interested in under 120bhp and 200lb/ft lol
i think mine on dci is about to go haha when you pull the catch inside the car you dont even need to touch the catch when opening the bonnet u just lift it, its rusted to f**k!!
its no where near the limiter its beeping because the coolant temperature sensor has failed.
erm i cant quite remeber the manufacturer but i beleive its some sort of factory optional kit of some sort, AB Flung or AB Flug or something?

i was £120 to get my front bumper done on my dci when i pranged it that was including removal and refitting, was £200 for the spoiler and rear bumper inc removal and refitting and the bumper needed a good bit of prep work. just say martin with the silver clios recomended u and he'll sort you out...
