This cars doing my head in, its just not running right, thought it was the engine mounts so changed them all and problems still there so trying a few other ideas!

my old 1.2 16v clio was around -80mm all round, on anything more than a smooth road it didnt handle worth a f**k, fast bends it would bumpskip in the bends.
i personally wouldnt be going any lower than -40mm on a 172 unless it was for track only use.
its a high performance high reving engine, you can use cheap oil in it if you want, your car, but theres no way id be using tesco oil when hammering my cars nuts in round a track.
oilman im sure will come on and back me up with this and the real facts about these cheap "fully synthetic" oils.
never expect miracles with these cars lol, wouldnt be doing it if i was paying for fitting (i beleive k-tec charge around £250 odd quid? and around £600 for the manifold and link pipe!)
i got my manifold much much cheaper than that ;)
anyone got the part number and price for the battery tray that the engine mount bolts into? mate just text me to tell me hes sheared the bit the mount bolts into :S
