Took apart my clocks to paint the center. I must have knocked the needle upon doing so.
All fitted but it doesn't read correctly. Tonight i filled up fully and drove 15 miles approx so it should be full, or just off.
However whenever i turn on/off the ignition the needle keeps dropping further...
Thank you very much. Thats a very nice comment to hear :)
I worry that beacuse i put loads of pics/info on what i do, people think its mint. Its far from it so i dont want to give people the wrong illusion when they see it in the flesh.
Haha, its only because i work mon-fri but am delivering...
Ive had both sets x2 on different clios.
1x pair cooksports bought new, 1x cooksports already fitted.
1x sportlines bought new, 1x sportlines already fitted.
As i said earlier in the thread, cooksports are a firmer ride but lower it more, eibachs are a better ride and but are slightly higher...
Hmm, are they a satin/matte finish like i have? Dont want metallic/gloss.
I got them off ebay buddy.

Your welcome.
Oh yeah, i totally get that. The interior is personal, but the engine will always look better with paint.
Have a look a my thread if you get time as ive recently painted my engine parts the same colour as my dash strips and clock bezel. You can get a better idea of the colour...
Haha, ive just done the exact same!
No not really. Its a dash top removal job. There is a guide on here. Then you unplug the 2 clock plugs, t10 torx for the back screws, unclip the screen and then use a small flat screwdriver to prize off the surround around the edges.
Scuff, primer, paint...
So as the new clocks were here, i decided to stay afterwork to paint them.
Bezel removed, rubbed down, etched, painted and lacquered. It did come out a bit peely but i left it over night to fully harden before i wet and dried it.
As my bossed asked if i would deliver a customers car on...
Top mounts are here so hopefull have a day on the suspension parts tomorrow as i have to work Saturday. Clocks from @cs_dave turned up also so i'll be spraying them soon too. May even start tonight.
Yeah, my missus bought that for me when i had the ph1  Ive had in my cars since
Thank you. I did remove the clocks on my old BG when i ftted carbon ones so its not a hard job and one that i was comfortable with this time round. There is also a guide on here if you ever decide you...
Its not needed so might as well make space.
Make sure you block up the pipe leading to the acoustic valve from the inlet. I did this:
