yep much thinner on the rear as they are solid disks, no need for vented rear disks on the 172/182, or most small front wheel drive cars for that matter

powerflex lower mount bushes was one of the best mods i done to my 1.2 16v BUT....... its been one of the worst to my 172, on the 1.2 16v the other mounts were fine with the uprated bushes for thousands of miles and fine even once it was sold. but its killed atleast one of the other mounts...

brembo max and DS2500 then with decent fluid and braided hoses, fairly cheap compaired to 4pots, decent from cold/day to day etc but great on track

pretty pointless to be honest yes and not exactly fast although in a mk2 clio with some minor mods it would be quite fun to drive and a blast down a backroad but i cant see it being anywhere near as much hastle as a 2.0 conversion, but thats all down to the ECU, im not sure what needs done for...

it is wear and tear that causes it but thats not the point, you expect wear and tear to affect it after 6 or 7 years not a couple of months!!!

i average 35mpg in my 172 when i behave, 28mpg on VTEC lol

i use Eibach Sportline springs with 172 Cup Dampers, handles spot on, better than my coilovers were on most roads due to the crappy surfaces here!

i done a bit of work to an old 2.0 turbo volvo estate a mate bought for a bit of fun and when running more boost the oem induction hose was being sucked closed by the turbos, causing it to drop of power just as it was about to hit max boost. a bit of samco hosing and it was sorted. different...
