how do you know you can only just see it in 1 of the pics? and it kinda looks stainless or brand new genuine hard to tell

brakes are designed for a 150bhp car so they are fine! if you want a bit more bite then some decent pads but if i was you id save your money and go for standard disks and standard pads (or standard disks and EBC greenstuff pads are a good combo if you dont like brake dust!) if you want "cool"...

get a 1.5 dci, insurance will be about the same as the 1.2 but it will get twice the mpg and just as powerfull, plus more torque makes it much better than a torqueless 1.2!

sorry to hear about it mate im a manager in somerfield and both my 172 and another managers 182 have both been keyed in the last 6 months along with tyres slashed and people running up peoples bonnets and over the roof etc

why not? i know my old 1.2 16v would out handle and out brake my 172 no problem! it was a brilliant laugh to drive just lacked straight line speed. and down a twisty backroad would have been just as fast back to the question.... my old 1.2 16v was RR'd at just under 85bhp with cat back...

power wise you wont gain much, put it will improve driveability and as far as im led to beleive from people who have the RStuner, a good low down torque gain

sounds like the gearbox is gone, id try changing the oil first to see if it helps its maby had the wrong oil put in it at some point
