lol that pic minds me of last year in my "carpark days" when we all had the same sidelight bulbs lol
looks 10x better with the new grill mate, as said B16......
so ive got my pc polisher sitting beside me with pads etc but just dont know what i need on the electrical side of things, the links in the import guide apear to be dead! ive had a look on maplin for similar stuff but dont want to get the wrong thing!! anyone got any links to what i need?
cheers
well afaik the car will display a warning light if it records a fault, so if you dont have a light on the dash the car doesnt think there is a fault, so nothing to record for the clip to read but i may be wrong?
Yep FK Konigsport Silverline X coilovers the adjustable damping ones with the koni dampers, handled superb especially once the polly bushes were on it, but not a million miles better than the 172 with eibach sportlines with standard dampers and bushes
i had mine slammed on its arse and it handled really well once it had been set up, then i went on a mad handling mission and raised it a bit hand had it set up again and it handled much better on rough roads but not much different on smooth roads (or a track!)
i seee ;) wish i had converted mine but didnt/dont have the time anymore :(
h&rs go just as low as FK's or there about i think... heres my old one...
back maxed out on 195/45/15
you will need the clio adaptor plate. it only fits a clio, think k-tec sell them seperate.
induction kits r crap on the 1.2 16v dont make much noise and make it slower lol
you would be surprized how much difference the 15bhp makes!!! it goes from being just acceptable to being unaceptable!! thats how slow the 60bhp one is, cable throttles good tho lol
my bird talked me into selling her my old dynamique so sold it to her for £800 and she dumped me........ cheers hen
i miss that car A LOT! and would take it back anyday
best setup i had on my 1.2 16v was the standard airbox but i cut it open and modified it to allow it to flow more air, K&N Pannel filter and larger, wider CAFgoing to the standard cold air duct behind the front grille (ull see it, it leads to thebattery bit)
never been a fan of crotch rockets myself. i know what you mean about the lack of mid range punch on the clio, when your nailing it they go well but they do feel a bit dead between 4 and 5k, nothing a set of cams cant fix hehe
there was a guy selling re worked 172 TB's on ebay with quite a bit of modifiying done but apparently they arn't a restriction and the 90 degree bend on the hose going from TB to airbox is more of a restriction.
we put L plates and my mums driving school sign on the roof of my old coilovered clio lowered about 100mm for falkirk cruise one night was quite funny looking!
