yeah the Michelin's are cheap, fairly readily available and last so so well, they're really hard the Dunlop's I've used in the past, again second hand eBay purchases, were much softer and grippier but lasted barely 4 trackdays and completely dead

in order for me in terms of making a 'feel able difference' its slicks over diff over RCCK, the full slicks made the single biggest difference ime. however this is not timing so it could be placebo effect etc. perhaps, there's nothing scientific in it from me, just how the car feels to drive to...

    Interior LED issue

ai the interior one does that as the canbus sends small voltage across it at all times to check for circuit fault I believe but the voltage required to run an LED is so low it means it stays on, if all but dimly, all the time. my 182 has had same bulb fitted doing that for 5 years now, no...

    Wet sparkplugs

sorry yes, I was still thinking of the ones I use for the turbo lump, its 6 you want @Booty ideally you will need a new gasket as its a crush type so theoretically one use only. I've always just tended to loose the gasket completely and use a thin smear of tiger seal, thin being the operative...

    Wet sparkplugs

    Wet sparkplugs

1.8 16v F7P engine you can remove the cam cover no problem, the cams have seperate carriers

    Wet sparkplugs

check the rocker gasket again, they are a pain to get right and that above is typical symptom of oil leak from the rocker into the plug wells

    Suspension thump/knock

flol, overpowered? if its standard engine wise I think you are perhaps the only person ever to hold that view! as for the knock, sounds like you have checked most of the obvious ones, its could perhaps be the CV joint however, that would be my next port of call. Oh and check obvious such as...
