made some progress today, fitted my flocked parts to tidy up the tired old door furniture
also fitted the C/F clock surround and taxed her, so back on the road tomorrow....provided I get a couple more coats of wax on it and seal up the wheels fully!
then pics and vids hopefully, out in the...
I found the yozza too loud, I sold it for 300 odd quid and bought a used janspeed for peanuts, its nice and quiet, no drone and lovely rasp when you give it beans ;)
speedo sensor is located at the rear of the box near to the 'dogbone' mount, its a small cylindrical sensor that slots into the box and should have a wire/plug on it
lol, that's Dan and the Mansfield massive, his is the red one, Ry's is the green RSi and Lee's is the blue on white wheels.
all F4R powered and track spec :)
Got all the screws out I think, it just seems to be stuck at the a pillars??
grip it and rip it?
or can someone point me at the guide as I've tried to search the guides section to no avail
thanks
Ben
plymcl - buy some rc6 and see how you cope ;) I've run all sorts of pads for year on all sorts of clios and all sorts of spec, the rc6 are the first to kill the wheels that have been on the car for years on all the other pads ;)
I currently have standard Renault pads, crap grooved discs, and...
George - you got it chap ;)
Boom - the pics are just poorly processed chap, hence dark as hell, my laptop screen is a major let down for PP so I need to sort something. I just cba going back over them tbh for boring on the drive pics anyway.
cars back on the road September so expect some...
New willy wheels and janspeed fitted recently.
exhaust fit to the bumper pics first, Coops mod to get it to sit proudm, can just read the janspeed branding :)
Right, bit more progress today
bought some new clamps for the janspeed and fettled with the rear mounts again. its still banging on something at the rear when I reverse but otherwise I think I've cracked it
bit more tinkering and I may be able to keep the fit on the rear bumper without any...
if you read back a bit its due to costing a lot for little gain, a grand can be better spent elsewhere I think is the feeling?!
corking car chap btw :)
cheers for the advice folks, I think I may give some a try
Dave, I've used EBC before in all 3 flavours in the turbo, dust is as you say more than manageable but I've never got on with the pads tbh
its not so much the amount of dust as the consistency of it, basically the RC pads are just metal filings that come off the pad and weld themselves to the wheel, literally cannot get them off and the wheel turns rust coloured, nom nom. I wont be happy if something similar happens to the willy...
Considering some new pads for the 182, however I am a bit of a tart with my wheels and I don't want to shag them with un-cleanable dust
are the DS2500 manageable in terms of dust? the RC6 I have on the mk1 have basically eaten my superleggera's and I don't want a repeat performance on the...
