cheap trouble free motoring is good as long as you like the car, i dont mind having a 2nd car so it can sit off the road when im not using it, i use the dci daily costs pennies and never gives me any greiffe! plus ive got a decent suspension setup and uprated brakes all round so its fun lol

decent set of tyres, you could go for coilovers since they are coming down in price these days, decent set of uprated pads, standard disks, fresh brake fluid, pannel filter, 2.0 non RS F4R throttle body, matched inlets, exhaust manifold, decat/sports cat, cat back system. then get it mapped...

expensive, a brand new patern part will be about £40-£60 at a guess, think i paid about £40 for my dci one when i burst it

you top up the oil untill it starts coming back out, thats how you know its full, as well changing it while your doing it though! probably a work gearbox mount

injectors are limiting to about 135/140bhp max, clutch is currently the limiter with torque but thats getting changed too, then im finished with it lol

lol i thought it would be about 140 indicated going by engine noise untill my mate took the picture and i looked at it afterwords, my last one (ph2 172) used to hit the limiter at 147 indicated)

100 mapped to 130bhp/190lb/ft once this is on just needs an uprated clutch (standard ones slipping lol) and another map for more power :)

think they work a bit better on the VAG engines but they have a habbit of killing delphi DCi engines lol i paid £275 to have mine mapped... Pro's much quicker much more torque removes the standard cars torque limit (you can feel it limiting torque thru the rev range as standard) better fuel...

sorry i read that as 200k lol, its worth £2000 all day long in good condition and standard, depends what you need done to it to put it right

engines go for loads regardless of millage most of the time so in parts any dci is worth around £1k, if hes clueless you could get it for the £7/800 mark i know them inside out fire over any questions if you want
