cool mate, ill see how much he wants for the injectors and hope he doesnt know what their worth haha how much do they cost to get coded at renault? assuming no one up here can do them as far as i know apart from them, or can most diesel specialists do it?
its my daily runner at the moment as...
i take it you cant use the 172 clutches then?
i was under the impression that the injectors were the same and it was just the fuel pump that was different or is that the 80 and 100 im thinking of?
yeah that much torque would be awesome!!!
awesome man wish i could have found a dci100 intercooler :( im assuming the pipework is the same apart from you seem to have another pipe going from the top jubilee clip at the top of the radiator (drivers side) down to the intercooler, my hose connects to the intercooler at the top where the...
check the bolts holding the fuel rail guard on my mates was making a grinding noise turned out both bolts were loose and it was rattling about!, weird!
yeah realised that when i went to fit it today didnt have the pipe coming from the turbo, but went back up and got it for £2 lol
only thing thats looking like a bit of bother is the radiator on my 65 is different from the one on the 80 it came from, mine doesnt have the brackets to mount the...

springs are going to make it sit a bit lower, you cant adjust them, and if your using...
brilliant guys cheers, ive always been un happy with how high the front sits on non RS clios on -60mm springs but thought this wouldnt be so much of a problem with the heavy diesel engine, and i was right. cheers guys!
i dont understand why people would buy a performance car and then put some cheap lowering springs on it? id save your cash and get a set of eibachs for it or just leave it standard
guaranteed my 172 would destoy any 1.2 coilovered or not down a backroad.
as for the replica i still dont see teh point unless your doing it around a DCi then i can see it!
dont bother trying a 182 exhaust on a non 182 shell unless your chopping the wheel well out they always look crap from...
DCI CLIOS ONLY!!! not interested in normal non RS clios as ive fitted loads of different kits and saw how they look, im only interested in dci's
please state what kit/springs your using.
cheers
martin
its a bit weird to get into but not that hard, the pannel at the bottom of the windscreen pops off on the drivers side, i dried my mates one out on the radiator and it worked fine but tried it on another and it didnt...
it needs to be very tight twisties for a 1.2 to keep up, ive done the full coilovered 1.2 before and it was fun and kept up with some other quick cars but now ive got a 172 and learned how to drive it properly theres no hope in hell that wee car would be keeping up!
