If your limited to a Sunny GTi-R instead of a Pulsar (import) then you are really restricting the number of cars you can look at and if you only have 3.5k to spend then I think you will be looking for a long time. Maybe both, if you spin up or bog down at the start I suppose it cuts your terminal down a fair bit as well though.

3995 is very cheap for a mint Williams 3 I would have thought it would be more like 4449 If it is how you describe. You wouldnt believe the amount of Williams that are advertised as mint but up close/in detail are far from it!

I got the impression that York times were slightly quicker than the pod on the whole but I guess there are too many variables to be an accurate comparison. Hope to compare times from Elvington with York Raceway soon.

Keep the bodywork standard but go for engine mods plus exhaust and filter. If youre having problems with the ride height Id raise it slightly but imo its all about performance if you want spend money on 17s and kits buy a 1.2.
