    Buying a Cup....

Go for it I say, if you can afford a Cup at your age you should get one. As long as you take some time to get used to the cars handling/performance and dont be goaded into showing off or racing you should be fine.

    Clio 1.8 16V or a 106 GTi

Same colour as my old beast http://erc.qmuc.ac.uk/cliosport/gallery/full/1083869248__oldsaxo.jpg I went to a Williams 2 and the maintaining the car has not been cheap, if you can afford it go for a newer 106 Gti. Just as good a car as the 16v but will be more reliable/cheaper to maintain.IMO
  16. Martin

    Williams Bonnet

Williams bonnet is same as 16v.
  17. Martin

    Clio 1.8 16V or a 106 GTi

If given the choice between the two I would go for the 106 mainly as you will be able to get a newer/low milage example a lot easier than a valver. Dont see the point in changing to the 106 from a saxo though.

    Clio, WHICH ONE!

If cash is tight why are you willing to spend 3.6k on insurance?
  23. Martin

    Clio, WHICH ONE!

3.6k!!! I know its boring but Id say save your money, spending that much on insurance is just silly. Id say go for a 1.6 16v or a Mk1 Clio 1.8 16v.

Valver possibly for sale v soon!!!

A valver should be way faster and more fun to drive than a Mk2 1.4, is it in good health?
  26. Martin

    £5000 to spend!

Have you got something against the Williams 2?? No sunroof to leak (like the 3) and the better (imo) looks of the phase 2, best of both worlds.

    B&M Quick Shift

Once you get used to them they are very good, no pics though Im afraid. Take it from me they look pretty good too.
