Good ol dutch craftmanship
All this world-wide interest is all nice and well but i want one and now Henk's sold out !! .....:D
oh well, January will be fine i suppose. All good things are worth the waiting
Lowering my car has just about solved all of the knocking... less axle tramp ; so problem may still be still there but drasticly reduced by fitting harder/stiffer front shocks
:)
that's it ... buying the gadget next paycheck
I thought my original grpN was great, now i'm wanting the latest !
also the smoother idle seems nice to me
oops..... 182/172 difference sorry !
Yet i've heard the 182 does'nt respond to a decat well at all ? because of the already good manifold, you're taking away the last bit of backpressure it has by decatting.
People who tried them found them very dissapointing on the 182
mine goes like a rocket with sportscat ...
Still want to try decat though ;)
Pain in the arse to replace with MOT ; that why i went for sportscat. And sound is friendlier
turbo's are great for people with load of money that like to replace major engine components on a weekly basis. Lad off Williams Clio's went bang, Nick Read's was unreliable as f**k, even years down the line once the process was perfected and my mate Adi bought it, the car was still an...
My experience with Fastchip maps ; Believe me it will make a very noticable difference . Reacts on throttle a lot better, more torque in lower revs, drivability is just improved a lot. Limiter is raised ; I've never been there yet and i do like to drive hard. Fuel consumption improves...
when fitted correctly, Vipers have proven to gain performance.
I'm never buying one again but hey, ;)
Had one on my Saxo, did'nt like the way the garage mounted it. I re-mounted it with the CAF facing forward ; did some cutting so it would end up behind my grill.
This way it was...
i cant afford lighter that 7 kg as they go carbon ; too expensive for good relationship with the wife ;)
just went for a drive and i could already really notice a difference ! Outside temp was little over zero, that also helps alot i guess
should be looking at a 55kg drop in weight when i'm...
okay, i was thinking it would be flying all around the enginebay/airfeeds/etc. ....
want to get my freshly fitted H&R's a bit lower but it's scrubbing already
yes it surprised me really ! put all the stuff (one/two part at a time) on the weigher in the bathroom so might not be accurate .
The bar is a heavy bugger, then the backrest was also heavy in comparison to the actual seat, and the seatbeltparts...
Next up ; Sparco seat is 7,5 kg compared to...
This evening had some spare time so... got the middle torx b*****d loose after almost ripping the skin of my knuckles and lighting a sigaret (which is a nono for me since two weeks)
so the backseat is out now , total parts weighed 20kg
Next up are the Sparcos, i´ll have to save up...
Looking nice indeed !
Do you get any scrubbing with the front so nice and low ?
Just mounted my H&R's and want to go just a tad lower than they came set in the box. Have to wait a bit till they're settled though
