i know eggy, he used to be in my class at school whose brother is called craig hood but he comes from biddulph moor?
other than that i have no idea lol
eves lane, opposite the big pub (master summit or other) i'm actually from biddulph though. seen the car about btw! give us a flash next time you cant mistake mine
oooooo, whats u're car like? go doggy training in cheadle :o
i may organise a proper stoke meet in the near future so will let u know. Otherwise i work at b and q in the day, so pop down and have a gander round the car
^ on my 1.2 its more than enough. they do sell 1L bottles, but ive never had to buy one in all honesty as i normally have some oil left over. it may be a 5l bottle, but ive not checked for a while lol
not many at all. i tinted my mk2 ph2 ones, but left the centre circle clear. looked good, but i sold them as i didnt think they were dark enough and got a good deal on some colour coded ones lol
not fond of the back at all. front is slightly dodgy with the shape of the mouldings on it, however the sides would look ok if smoothed in. i dont think the wheels, or the height of it do the kit any favours though
take it to a bodyshop and ask nicely. they should be able to add some black to some lacquer and then spray them with this. gives the best finish by far, and is probably the most 'legal' way of doing it, as the finish is almost OE.
id go for it. have them done in black, and then have the oz painted in red/white/silver to make them a little different.
i toyed with a similar idea on some RS5 lensos, but have opted against it lol
not many if you go for a more sensible spacer like loony suggests. only real disadvantage is more wear on the wheel bearings and extra stress on the handling etc.
only as bad as having wheels on the wrong offset
it will be a 50% as thats the lightest they do.
i was contemplating doing exactly the same on mine, but wasnt sure if it would look like a van but i have to say i really like the effect, and will deffo get mine done.
i think thats lowering will really finish it off and bring all your mods...
i've got a spare set of the 'lexus' renault ones. tried to stanley knife the seal away and couldnt manage it.
dont fancy using the oven on them, but dont think a hairdryer would work as the sealant doesnt go soft under the extreme heat we've just been having. might be worth a shot though.
tried this and couldnt get it off myself. if it was glass you can put it in the oven to soften the sealant, but didnt want to risk it (with it being plastic)
depends on where you go and where you live. I'm up north so i've had quotes ranging from 150 upwards. However i always ask the question, how many coats fo paint do you use, if they give u a specific number they're s**t ;)
i offered to do it andromeda, but hes ghey ;) one for the future maybe lol. If your feeling brave danny you can get andromeda from halfrauds, although it costs 25 quid a tin and if you havent done much spraying before it aint the nicest paint to use. That goes over a black base coat and will...
dont go for 172 bumper and skirts, just get colour coding it'd look just as good. coilys 425 from www.2modified.com, colour coding about 200 quid, fitting about 75 quid, then you'll need to get it tracked which is prob gonna cost another 75 quid, so a bit over maybe lol
