go back mate, standard spec is a green interior. Could have all sorts of problems such as disconnected air bags, pre tensioners etc. I know there is problems with the green interior staining etc, so may be an innocent reason for this, i'd stil check however

good thing is if your planning to sell the car soon, if you have the 172 coversion they normally add value to your car, as everyone wants one. If i was you, i'd just colourcode, even give it a bash yourself as you did a good job of your sides.
