when you say stalk do you mean the steering wheel remote? i should have this on the way from si very soon (if he finds it lol). I'm getting the proper steering wheel control wiring, so when i get that sorted i'll have this one for sale.
should be fine, its just like in the old days when they sold universal ones. get the universal ones, which are bigger. then you silicone then on over the recess.
not a particularly pleasant job to do, or to remove... but it would one way of doing it
sports cats are a great idea, mine still flies the emissions, yet gives me the noise and 'sporty' feel of a de-cat, yet still retains some torque, planned mods sound great, i'd seriously consider a coilover set up as well though, to put that power through the twisties ;)
saw this posted on ebay, nearly shat myself laughing when i saw the buy it now price!

looks good! personally i would have done the top section in cup blue (like i did on dannys), as i think it'll break up the cover better but colour combination sounds like a cracker :)
i'd also do the renaultsport in white, as i think it'll match it all in nicely
evidence: http://i5.photobucket.com/albums/y157/middos/originalclio.jpg second day of clio ownership and andromeda sides lol
i would if they're good quality looking ones, but samco would definetely look good in there.
ive bought a bottle, and ill be honest when i say ive never used it. my dad borrowed it for his van, and it did look spot on - but he managed to use half the bottle :dapprove:
i sprayed mine andromeda the week i bought my car 2 years ago. then i blended them into the bumpstrips so nobody ever noticed them, but have just got some glittery white ones to go on next week lol.
good work danny - its almost finished for now ;)
if you've taken it and not commented you dont have a chance.
at my dealership when it last went in they were proper anal about all the imperfections so that none could come back on them. they will insist they walked you round the car - so sadly that'll be the end of it, unless they're...
always does with around 50 or so miles. but orange light wont come on till its almost out iirc.
driving at a steady 60 i can get 65mpg on my display. normal around town driving is around 48ish depending on how hard i drive. lowest ive ever had is 20odd from sitting in traffic with the air...
got 84.something at 6,001 rpm on one of the mobile units at the chester meet. torque curve was actually totally flat tho :approve:
never actually run it on a proper rolling road yet, but practising ready for the quarter mile at trax lol
chris at silver systems sorted me my sports cat on the 1.2. so he can deffo do one for the 1.4. its welded in, so non-transferable, but in being a sports cat theres no need to remove it. give him a bell and see what he says
