try cliospares as well, and local scrappys. As edde says, dont really think its worth it, cos the bodykit premium on your insurance with the cost of the kit will make it pointless.
^ have to go with edde on this one, you need to weight save, breather mods like a viper, de cat pipe and stealth system. Make it handle like its on rails with a coilover set up and remove rear seats - really makes a huge difference
^ more hassle to try and bodge the bumper on to be honest. The only person whos done it 'properly' is Has who had to get the whole front bumper remoulded to fit his wings at a substantial cost. You wont be able to have arch liners etc etc with bodging it on. Get the wings and sideskirts if you...
youd need to sand them down as much as possible, plastic prime/maybe filler prime, paint and then laquer. i get my paint from autopaint.com excellent company :)
yeah im not a fan of the lexus clears, but tis a difficult one not to upset her lol
try the tinting spray first, then take it the bodyshop if needbe. you could only remove the spray before its lacquered using white spirit - but its not a pleasant job as it goes everywhere
search for ant's car as hes got some black superleggras, and on his black car they look the nuts.
only problem with doing it to the speedlines is that the cost will be pretty high, unless you can get them cheap secondhand. ultimately the same look could be had with cheaper wheels.
you'll find you need to apply really thin layers to prevent bubbles and stuff (nasty stuff to work with if you spray it thick) but the more you spray the bolder the colour gets your spraying. if your just going to spray it with paint and lacquer it then nice even coats is the way to do it.
any good scrappy should be able to sort you out with a good set, or a spare set you can spray up. ive recently been using auto-transplants.co.uk i think - and they've been good.
cliospares.co.uk however they have just got extremely expensive for dash trims. probably because ive bought so many they think theres a market for them.
other than that spray your own bits
i went on a pointless drive tonight too lol, dont see many infernos about tbh must be an outsider lol.
btw mate, are you coming the meet at crewe on 8th? would be good to actually meet you!
if it were me i'd try the tinting spray first. if you bodge it halfords sell a tinting spray remover so u can try again.
not sure on the tinting film, as it would have to be applied properly to look good, but its an idea
ideally, for road use. you need to buy the tinting film. you primed it etc. you wouldnt get any light through at all lol
one of my mates once cleaned the lights up with white spririt, sprayed them in just metallic black (no priming etc.) and then lacquered over. finish was mint, and it let...
