They have proven their gains actually.... and the Miltek vids are with a decat.
TBH Carbon Copy before spouting you should read up a little.
I'm pretty sick of people having a go at this FMP dude for going to all of this effort of getting an exhaust with proper R&D behind it.
There is loads you can do with old Escorts these days, a duratec engined one with independent suspension kicks ass.
Rover V8 install looks neat but only worth it for the noise.
Seemingly brought back from the dead then...i think the idea has been around for ages as clio_mad pointed out.
Power isn't what is wrong with TVR though...
I like it, i haven't seen one in silver before but it looks great in your photos.
My only problem with it is that dispite the 17s it still looks under wheeled.
You could probably get a second hand one from a scrappy for about £20... but at least a sports cat will you give you a slight benefit. Most people would say get a decat and the first option i'd imagine!
I loved my k-tec exhaust. I came my pants every time i went for a thrash. Sounded better than my 172. Proper pops and bangs...just a shame it never went any where.

If you're a 17/18 year old then getting a 172 isn't even an option, certainly isn't a matter of a 'few hundred quid.' You'd have to be 21 at least... with a good driving record.
So i'm all for it, as long as people don't put on 2.0 badges.
He's a journalist for Autocar. If you read it you might remember him buying a Gallardo with the idea that he'd wouldn't lose money on it 6 months down the line, therefore justifying the price he couldn't afford. He ended up losing £20k. LOL.
A rally kit on a 1.2 though? Why bother. I'd go for the 172 kit myself because if you have patience you could get the parts cheap. I certainly wouldn't pay more than a few hundred quid for all parts (second hand)...
The cost is in the painting, being a perfectionist i'd get most of the car...
Don't think he works there no, he mentioned taking a mate's place i think!
Heard about the M3, oops! There was plenty of spins, and an Elise TT (350bhp) broke a toe link and went into a wall buckling his alloy. Not massive damage though.
Practically a yellow flag the whole day but was immense...
The only way i see you doing it is getting your mum/dad to do a policy where you're an additional driver.
I got insured for under a grand at 20, but then i had 3 years NCB too.
I was wondering why the hell you had bought Middo's car as you seemed to be selling every modification.... so i'm pleasantly suprised. I do actually think it looks better how it is now.
