That's the problem with mint cars, driving them ruins them. I was chatting to a guy at a show who had Sierra RS500 that he'd turned into a concourse winner. He said it still cost him hours to prep for every show and he never drove it.
The patterned dash strips are from a 172 I believe. 182 ones are just flat silver. That silver paint on the engine bits looks very smart mate. I'm struggling to decide what I want to do with mine!
Wow that is low mileage, and expensive. Not exactly the most desirable spec so you'd have to sit on it for a few more years (or 10) before it's appreciated for what it is.
Powder coat would be better than a rattle can job, but so would a pro painted finish. I think factory finish is paint so it must be good wearing. Paint works on centre caps too, and f. me the powder on my wheels is so thick I can't read any of the cast writing!
It'll need bending a bit to stop you from punching the radio and you'll want a short shift to reduce the throw so it's the same as it was with the standard stick.
Just fitting a scenic shifter would be like fisting Katie Price and trying to find the sides.
I don't think running an EVO and saving for a house go together that we'll, probably a good choice to keep the Meg a bit longer pal! Besides it's a lovely example too.
Keep posting mate, but things like this have been covered lots of times. Folk on here usually do a progress thread about their car and keep all this stuff in there. As you've seen from the po of your car it makes it nice and easy to keep track of what's been done on the car.?
You can fit xenons from a 1*2. They are a direct swap. Don't go fitting a hid kit to your halogen headlamps because you'll fail mot and look like a tw@.as for the rear you can fit phase 1lights which don't have the clear bit in the middle and are all red and I'm sure there will be some s**t...
