Scenic shifter

Is a scenic shifter on its own a upgrade for a clio 172 or no?

Without doing anything else to it?

Will be worse if not.

It'll need bending a bit to stop you from punching the radio and you'll want a short shift to reduce the throw so it's the same as it was with the standard stick.
Just fitting a scenic shifter would be like fisting Katie Price and trying to find the sides.

I dont think the throw is any more than standard on mine, or on any ive fitted. Maybe ive just never noticed? Bend it to bring it further back and fit a decent knob and all is good
