I almost did it. My plan was to try and get my 1.2 down to 850kg and then do the turbo conversion. I'm sure it would of been a lot of fun, but yes, a silly amount of money.
I spoke to David at K-tec about it when it was just an idea, he mentioned that it would be 120bhp as a light pressure...
Similar thing happened, have a safe installed in the house now to keep car keys! It's a very common way of stealing cars these days.
Glad you got it back, Clios aren't worth much anyway so keep it for a bit and i doubt it would make much difference in it's value.
Wrong forum to ask for suspension advice imo.
If i wanted to get my Clio set up for harder use, say trackdays, i would probably go to someone like Mark Fish Motorsport who campaign Clios in various race series'. They have the knowledge and experience needed.

Awesome!
A return to a genuinely lightweight hot hatch would be great, but i can't see the point in them even doing that concept? The whole point of it is that it's a cheap city car, there would be no market for having a Twingo RS and Clio RS surely?
The problem with spacers is that they will then start to wear down components and from my experience with Renault, the cars are over engineered! So personally i wouldn't. If you don't do many miles or drive like a granny you might get away with it...
