A Cup is a lot faster than a standard 172 though...probably a full couple of secs faster to 100mph. I think the Golf is only Mini Cooper S fast.

The exhaust is fine, but it needs time spent getting it fitted perfectly. I drive around at 65mph with the CD player on so noise is never a problem. It's never been annoying, just a hum at higher speeds that you get used to.

Only two things concern me about the exhaust, how close it will be to the tarmac and if it is too loud for most circuits! Having heard a Supersprint i know how hard they are hard to resist. The noise is just immense, and as Chris is using his as stripped out track toy he is definetly justified...

My 172 was out a miniscule but made a huge impact. Never pulled to the left though, just felt unsettled at speed. You should have the same tyres on the same axle.
