Which Panel filter to get?????

Just wanting peoples comments/opinions on which panel filter i should get? i did have a viper but have got rid of that for a panel filter with my custom cold air feed to the lower grill, just would like to know whats on offer really.

Well i was going to go the ITG route, just wondered what everybody else had, which has the better air flow the foam type like itg, or the k&n type.

And where is the best place on the net to order a itg?

I'm picking up my k&n one today, just as good as ITG imo. Will let u know how good it is though

personally I think the k&n is better for the 172, but thats just my opinoin

ITG, no brainer really.

my itg is currently on its way to me and that decision was made after months of looking at and trying the rivals the quality is fare better gave me better throttle repsonse against the k&n panel and bmc...plus you dont have to clean the itg and it lasts basically forever go for itg mate..

i had an itg, green, piperX and a k&n

imo the K&n was the best for me..for grunt, no loss in power, bit more rev happy. the itg was ok too but sound wasnt great.

i ran my K&N with a slightly modded air box (lower feed removed)

motorsport world is 46 delivered which is the cheapest around to be honest even with ktec discount it is more than this...a couple of my mates had the k&n and they thought it was good also but the casing for the filter i.e the rubber really degrades over time so you need to swop it sooner same for green.

craig if you ring merlin motor sport and quote my name they will sort you out with an itg fella and last time i spoke to them they had the cylidrical (sp) filter for the mk1 172 in stock.
