Any members at the foggiest ever trackday yesterday? Were quite a few Clio, including CitRens 172 Cup race car and i keep seeing a Mark Fish Motorsport prepared 182 with Turinis and stickers all over it...?
As i said, that could be a clincher. With Clios coming down to reasonable prices for your average 19/20 year old they'll probably be begging daddy to get get it for them!
I would sooner give someone £100 off the car rather than spend £300 'fixing' the exhaust.'
How loud is it then? It may not to be your preference but bear in mind for many people a little bit more noise is a positive thing. I wouldn't waste your money replacing it as it could be a USP when the Clio is up for sale.
Would love a camper, Jamie Olivers does have a Porsche engine, but i think it is out of an old air cooled one or just a 914 engine, so still not that fast.
They are very scary to drive with no power, no brakes, no stability, but they just look ace. Would love a splittie, or one of these!
IMO attention to detail is everything, even if it not strictly neccessary for it to look 'perfect,' do it anyway. You should always go for the wow factor...
Not sure, but i spoke to Plans before and they said they could source Ohlins...plus the Super 1600s run them.
Nitrons are v.good considering its a few men in a shed, have them on the NSX, but Ohlins are that bit better!
I have recently helped a mate fit some Ohlins dampers to his race Clio, they are better than the Sachs ones and about the same price. Worth investigating if you have the money to waste.
What job are you going for?
The edges of the Focus are pretty poor, they need proper touching up.
The slogan is good, but if you're going for a design role i'd expect more effort.
