I'd resist the urge to take little stepping stones and just keep the 1.2 for another a year or so, then get whatever hot hatch you like. The 1.6 isn't that much faster, and in every other respect it's exactly the same. I just don't see the point...at least try a different marque.
Looks pretty cool, but nothing compared to a Lotus Cortina or similar. Maybe it's just me but i know nothing of their 'heritage' which is why i think on the 182s it's a bit lame to have stripes.
Having said that i'm not sure Ford GT40 stripes on a Fiesta are that tasteful either...
That would be bottom right, what is it with women?
Top centre is the ONLY way to do it. In the end i just had the web address which looked a lot more subtle.
I doubt the paint is mismatched, i think the arch is just reflecting the light differently. For that sort of kit i'm sure the whole car would of been resprayed.
Cit Ren are also selling a 182 engine with 2k on the clock for under £500 as well.

My mate had one, but it was just dodgy. Fitted normal GTI wheels (i.e not the 17s) and it improved things, but after i bought the 172 and took him out, it was sold pretty soon after...
Defo didn't feel like 180bhp!
If anything the 182 should get better figures, thanks to a slightly better torque figure.
Had V Power for a while, and am getting good mpg, over 39 at the moment.
I wouldn't get H&Rs, for me having no adjustment on a set of suspension is a bit pointless unless you are a pure road user...so you probably made the right choice.
