Battery terminals - general question?

Darren S

Chaps, is it worth coating the terminals on the car battery and/or connectors with some form of grease? Or would you generally just leave them attached to each other 'dry'?

Electrics are an arcane form of witchcraft to me, so any suggestions would be more than welcome.

Cheers,
D.

Unless you plan on submerging her in water then I wouldn't bother. They are dissimilar metals but they won't corrode enough to warrant grease/vas

Well whenever i change any sort of batteries at work i always put silicone grease onto the terminals regardless of their use just make sure their tightened before applying the grease as its an insulator.
