ive seen a euro golf round my way with em on, looked good but did just look dirty from a distance, looks better on that colour though, as this was like a dark red :)
to be honest the amount of people who drive around with shitted up numberplates, i dont think they'll bother with you
looking like it will probably need bonding onto the original spoiler - so whilst not rocket science, it wont be totally straightforward.
unless your planning on having a big bodykit i would try and get something more subtle such as a trophy/cup/utopia or even a carcept one if you want...
dont put them back on if your planning on using any sort of cutting compound/polish as its just a ballache taking them off again. i left mine a good week inside where it was warm, before polishing/waxing. then put them back on the car.
its a tough one, as the pug gti is arguably going to require more maintenace than a newer clio.
i still prefer my old punto sporting to my clio as they're both 1.2 16v, but the punto was loads quicker, and just needed some good suspension to sort it out.

i had a go at doing my side strips and used 2 cans at each stage.
at halfrauds prices that going to be around £40 unless you buy the big cans of primer and lacquer lol
i was quoted around 300 for all that when i wanted my car done, but that was just 'normal' rate off the bodyshop - so no cash in hand deals.
needless to say it didnt get done lol
to be honest i think most cars there wont be finished, theres always more things to do, so go along for the hell of it ;) look forward to seeing the finished article :approve:
yeah, very professional, really know their stuff. I've used their laquer but not their primer, laquer was great cant comment on the primer, top coats have always been good :)
are you referring to the laquer? i used the exact same laquer and the results were very good :) because its acrylic and not cellulose i find its easier to apply
best thing i bought was a tin of leveller from halfords, really does smooth the paint, and if you get any patches of clouding in the laquer use a spot of this and it does tend to get rid of it as it reactivates the surface of the paint, also use a hair dryer whilst spraying to heat the laquer as...
cheers imitation is the highest form of flattery :approve: tbh i'm quite happy with my car now, looking into new wheels, and having a half car respray to get her mint for fcs but thats basically it. will have to have a good nose at those wheels at fcs if your going, bet they look mint in real...
