K-tec do a stealth system of the shelf. If you had a decat it would be pretty loud i'm sure. Ali could give you a more informed opinion of that... I think Powerflow do stealth systems but make sure you do a bit of research into finding a decent franchise.

Quite strange how people are into cars yet don't know much about them. My cousin has a Cup and informs me that he has a k&n filter so the car has 'around' 200bhp now. Check out the aftermarket (i.e Speedline) rims rather than the Renault ones, i think the ET is lower which will make them fill the arches.

Yep, big drop springs and bigger wheels are going to ruin the car IMO. ET35 will probably rub if you have people in the back but i reckon you would get away with it...will look a lot better than ET42. Spacers aren't recommended.

OEM rims are much better than the ones you had on.

Yeah, VAG power would be cheaper and lighter but then it sounds really crap compared to a V6...

The stealth isn't as loud as the normal k-tecs, don't get massive pops and bangs or anything. Is only loud when you stamp on it really...

Not sure but i am thinking of taking mine off of the 172 as its just stuck on ASFAIK. My only concern is if i take it off it will leave an obvious mark? If i do take it off you can have it off me.
