The annoying thing was that there were loads of grandstands but most were padlocked up, cheers Silverstone! Here are some the few i forgot to post. I drank too much wine last night...
Thats 18 in quantity of pics ;)
Bought tickets for my dads birthday for the GT racing this weekend (thanks for whoever gave me the idea again!). The weather was pants up until this afternoon but it was still a laugh and i found a friend was racing in the Maserati Trofeo!
(Photobucket is shite...
If it is a wheel bearing you will be able to tell as it is near silent when barely moving and gets louder when you go faster.
If you are sure what wheel it is, jack it up and spin the wheel around briskly and you will hear it.
A rear bearing went on mine after 24k and i think my 1.2 had one...
Oh the irony, maybe i should get taught how to be mature by Matt himself.
I can't believe Matt's first post back wasn't to do with the size of someones mum.
A changed man?
This has been talked about on here and there was a link to the thread you have posted.
A couple of people came out of the woodwork saying they have had the problem.
Says the guy who was defending his right to take the piss out of a modified car he didn't like?
Would you admit that you are a teeny bit hypocritical?
People like you need to understand that the majority of CS is not against modified cars, it is against bad taste. Get over yourself.
Is it a new model 1.2?
Leda do a suspension kit for the 1.4, maybe its worth seeing if they will do one for the 1.2. FK Automotive do coilovers but they are too soft for pure track use.
You can get a 4 pot conversion of the shelf... then find a 182 engine and you're laughing.
I have heard the FKs haven't got a good ride, which is a shame as the Highsports i had on the 1.2 were excellent, the ride was even better than OEM at -80mm!!
Thing is, the FKs lower more than the H&Rs, which is kind of drawing me in...
How about, organise a group buy you actually take part in? ;)
If it was a baby Vantage you could be right...
I know someone with a Vantage which is on its 3rd engine. He bought a back up Vantage just in case :approve:
My renewal is coming up, and i'm wondering what is the cheapest place for my 172 and I? I will be declaring an aftermarket exhaust and inlet work.
I have been with Adrian Flux before but they were expensive and i heard the cover is bad...?
Cheers!
I would get the geometry properly sorted out for a mid engined car.
I recommend www.plansmotorsport.com as they specialise in mid engined cars. Ask for Graham.
Was it loud?
The only standard 306 which might have a chance is the 167bhp Rallye model but i couldn't see one owning you. Maybe it was a GTI on throttle bodies.
