Well, the car must be running pretty lean with a decat so even if your light isn't on, i wouldn't be suprised if its doing slow damage to the engine...

My 1.2 16v probably had the same top speed as my 172, probably down to the better aerodynamics because it was slammed!

I doubt just having a job to do it. I left school after year 11 and went into full time work and still had borrow huge amounts to pay for my 1.2 16v. It cost 3k to insure in its first year so i doubt a betting shop job would pay for a Saxo, then a 182 lol. What is it with people on here, they...

The rules are no overtaking at the end of the day. I would forgive someone for passing me on a straight if i was going slowly but at a corner is inexcusable. You would half expect it from a Porsche driver but the Mini driver deserves a slap... Looks like Bedford should be setting up some CCTV!

Have had my k-tec stealth on for a week now and although i like it, its a tad too quiet. Its blowing slightly too so if anything its probably louder than it should be! I noticed k-tec don't have a straight decat listed for the 172, just a 182 one or a silenced 172 one. Is this just an omission...

I don't feel guilty for the car, i often give myself a talking to for speeding as admittedly i do some wildy illegal speeds at times.

It would be cheaper to get them fully refurbed, but you would want to get them all done so they are exactly the same finish. New wheels will cost you around £360 for the three...

Isn't it just a road system opposed to a racing one? You could just get a posh Hayward & Scott or such like...

A CAT has a silencing affect but it isn't an actual silencer so i guess you shouldn't expect too much of a difference. Do you have an OEM backbox?

K-tec charge £23+VAT for clear repeaters which sounds pricey and £13+VAT for the Silvatec indicator bulbs... Where should i go? :)
