Any increase in volume from the figure quoted on the cars V5 is an MOT failure. It's at the MOT testers discretion however.

Tell you what's great fun, trying to undo a bolt in a clockwise direction. Then when it won't budge, cracking out the breaker bar. Spent a f*cking age getting that drilled out.

I'd go with the hankooks, they've upped their game in recent years and have started producing not bad tyres. The T1-Rs are fine, but nothing to write home about.
