Ph1s are a wierd bunch right now. Some people see them as a 10 year old french hatchback, others see them as the best of the range of RS clios, so the prices differ anywhere between £1500-£4000, depending on whether it's being sold by some one "in the know" or not.
Meadowhall Retail Park is the one we went to instead ;)
Should probably make that clear to people. It's not at Meadowhall shopping centre, it's the big car park with a toys-r-us and a McDonalds on it
Well in that case, have a look around underneath the bumper, undo all the bolts you see around the front of it, pop off the clips that hold the front arch liners on, in the wheel arches themselves. Undo all the bolts/clips that hold the grill on, and then "pop" the bumper off pulling on the two...
Well it's nice to know that there's an alternative to the standard exhaust out there, well, for the 172 at least.
I can appreciate not everyone wants to be heard from 2 miles away.
You can change the bulbs without removng the bumper, I've done it many times.
You just need bendy hands, and an idea of how the starters go back onto the bulbs.
Well maybe you have?
Insurance prices are often directly affected by the number of incidents that occur. Ergo more 17 year olds crashing, more money 17 year olds pay.
The other thing to take into consideration is the cost of insurance has increased recently for just about everyone (not me...
This is the R26 we're talking about ;) LSD counts for a lot.
If I was in a position to get an R26 over my clio, I would not even ask the question twice. Much better car in every way IMO
Well normally when you buy a used car from a car dealer, you get a warranty with it. To offset the cost of warranty work that is inevitabley undertaken, the cost of all the cars they sell, has to cover that margin. Freebies are often chucked in like a tank of petrol, or car mats just to sweeten...
Warranty, freebies, finance deals etc...
Dealers offer a lot more than some bloke based in Rotherham with his pride and joy, but faces reluctant sale cus his missus is pregnant.
You're probably right, it will be beneath the laquer, as is often the way with carbon fibre fading.
Can't hurt to crack out the machine polisher though and have a go!
Neither will look particularly nice.
A wheel can look as fancy as you like in a little picture on a computer screen, but nine times out of ten, it'll look shat once on the car.
Oi..... Get the f*ck out of my section!
On a serious note.... Anyway wanting to convoy down is more than welcome, pop your names in a list and I'll arrange a meeting point along the M1 somewhere.
(lincs lot will probably go down the A1, so they can gtfo)
I remember the last thread, was it a Renault dealer that the work was done at?
I dare say if it wasn't they won't have timed the engine back up correctly
