not a direct swap iirc. my local bodyshop wouldnt swap some for me anyway without cutting into the loom directly and running an upgraded spur. does the 200 include all the relevant charger packs? and how'd you know the bulbs still work lol

go get it CLiP'd to diagnose the fault. if its mechanically standard and within warranty its covered FOC. otherwise it'll be 70ish from renault, or 25 from independent garage.
i had this fault the other week and assumed it was due to my sports cat.
took the car down to my local renault specialist who performed a CLiP test and it was diagnosed as a miss-fire (caused by a knackered spark-plug)
shoved a new set of plugs in, and then resetted the ecu and its as good...

i had the fixed red kit and was very good. Didint give much of a drop, but ride was better than standard, and turn in was a bit sharper. I was talking to ben off here who has a 172 cup, with eibach pro springs and koni yellow dampers and he loved that set up.
dont think anyone could argue that cupras or ctrs are better cars than the 172, build quality and reliability etc. you could go on forever saying your not gonna modify this and that, and saving money but u'd go on forever and end up buying an enzo cos theres no cars left. I have nothing against...

well its going to cost someone 40-45 quid to get it powder coated - assuming the other 3 are - to match.
4 generally sell for around the 250mark with ok tyres. 200max i'd say, but this would depend on whether you have new tyres, or no tyres at all.
tough one, if you only had three silvers i'd say sell them on ebay for spares prob looking at 50 quid a piece with tyres. Cos they're black obviously couldnt do that so i'd be lokoing into getting the fourth refurbed or selling em to someone as a project
why do people buy 172s and mod them when they could have saved up and bought a cupra or a CTR? not everyone needs to follow the crowd.

i've only dealt with k-tec on a few occassions but they managed to send me a grille which was illegally advertised as ms designs, and they then sent me an "ms designs style" grille which isnt the same at all.

i assume you pushed it off a cliff and watched the speedo for it to get to 115 lol i could get my speedo to say 120, but we both know it wouldnt actually be 120.
why not try taking it back to renault as you could have a go at arguing your paintwork warranty. think its 5/6 years? if the rest of the car is mint, then you've got a good chance.
