Do the 65's have a MAF sensor or equivalent? The fact there's no smoke out the back means it's not overfuelling. So as you say it's either a lack of fuel issue, or a sensor is stopping the ecu putting in more fuel because it thinks it's being starved of air.
How much air are we talking in the...
^That, and also the parts involved. The belts on their own aren't TOO expensive, my local specialist does the timing belt and aux belt for £380 all in, but as soon as you add the dephaser on top of that, it's roughly another £200, and then you might need new oil and oil filter for the dephaser...
Aye looks to be about that. I'll tag some of the folk from the last KK meet later when I'm on the computer, see if anyone else is coming.
Nae worries! Coming to Tony Roma's next month?
I've had no abs in my DCI for about 7 months lol! Its lucky I've got decent tyres. Say between half 7 and 8...
Ah, that's a bit of a pain never finding out what the issue was with the mx5. Bet it would've been a proper laugh when it was running right at full power too.
Unfortunately me and my mate aren't old enough to get the whole 'drive whatever you want' insurance cover :( so would involve adding a driver to my policy! I like your idea of bringing a +1 just so they can drive a car there for you lol!
Will probably be in the 172 anyway. Get a decent ph1...
Awesome read this! Was interesting reading about your previous car history and the bike racing. With regards to the MX5, was Sitech the ones responsible for f**king up the engine? They're just along the road from me and I've never really heard a bad word about them until now. Been in a few times...
Mine has flared ends. Doesn't sound right that you've been sent one with just straight/flat ends. Could see if they'll send you a proper one, alternatively just fire some amalgamating tape round the end of it and put it back on with the usual clamps.
I was thinking if it was lowered the chances are it was bump steer caused by the steering angles being all wrong. Standard suspension shouldn't have that issue though. I've not driven a 182 with cup suspension though so I don't know what 'normal' is like on them.
I take it you've checked all...
No worries mate. This weather is pretty terrible lol, was hoping it would clear up through the week but the weather on my phone now says snow on wednesday! 😂
56 plate Golf gt TDI 5 door. 170hp 2.0 16v PD engine with DPF. 62k miles, genuine GTI alloys, grille, and headlights. FSH and recent MOT with no advisories and 2 new bridgestone potenzas on the front. Both rear wheel bearings replaced 1 year ago.
No info on any optional extras or anything yet...
Line graphs have never worked for me in excel, never understood what they're supposed to do lol! I always use a scatter graph with lines for stuff like that. Like so:
Is that the kind of thing you're after?
Edit: Beaten to it!
Aye, as danny said.
Its an ideal place for when the weather is as s**t as this. Surprised how quiet this thread is though after the turnout at the last meet over in the east.
Haha yeah was just looking at your thread and remembered it was you who put up the thread about the wheels too. I'd have felt so sorry for those guys if the thread had stayed up all night!
Tbf though I ordered a set as well lol. They phoned me the next morning so probably offered us all the same...
