i think its powercoated so you can use something like t-cut to remove the corrosion, assuming its just cosmetic. but once clean i would then lacquer it which should provide some protection.

2modified.com has supplied FK's for the mk1. think patty and tom16v were the last people to use him and post about him. he sourced me mine for my 1.2 16v and ive got no complaints at all. give him a bell for a price and ask what else he does :)

ive only ever bought 2 products from K-Tec and ive been disappointed on with both - front grille, and carbon door pillars. living in stoke its not a quick drive down so i'll just have to put blind faith in you when i order my front strut brace.

i'd go powerflow, when i had mine done the first time it was too loud had to get it silenced! u havta remember although they seem expensive, u get a full lifetime waranty with them which you dont get with all exhausts. You can also choose the sound you like and theres a huge range of tailpipes...

did you ask for it to be quiet? i fancy mine semi-loud :D the first one he did me was deafening.
